Aug 10, 2026. Full‑time assignment (100%). Ongoing position with 188 calendar days.
Salary range $58,000 - $89,278 annually based on experience and education. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, employee walk‑in clinic, and optional benefit elections.
Responsibilities- Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, format, structure, and schedule.
- Create individualized programs of instruction, classroom materials, and curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning activities.
- Instruct students in large classes, small groups, and one‑on‑one settings.
- Administer, edit, proofread, and grade student assignments and assessments.
- Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity, supervise behavior and wellbeing, and administer discipline when appropriate.
- Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in multiple ways and use data to give meaningful feedback and modify instruction.
- Monitor student growth and progress, adapt support as needed, and maintain documentation of academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Communicate student progress, needs, and eligibility with parents or guardians and other staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues to enhance instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Participate in department, team, building, and district meetings, student and family conferences, social, cultural, and extracurricular activities, and professional growth opportunities.
- Attend work and arrive on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements.
- Preferred: experience instructing students in a classroom setting.
- Criminal background check required for hire.
- CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- English language proficiency.

- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work supportively with teachers, staff, and administrators.
- Ability to communicate with students, parents, staff, and community members.

- Ability to adhere to attendance requirements and punctuality.
- Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, superintendent policies, and building and department procedures.
- Ability to recognize workplace safety importance, follow safety rules, and report unsafe conditions.
- Operating knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office suite, educational technology equipment and programs, and typical office equipment.
- Valid Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsements.
- Criminal background check required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
