Ongoing | Work Calendar Days: 188 | Pay: $58,000–$89,278 annually (100% assignment based on 2025‑26 salary schedule)

Work Schedule
  • 1st Semester: 9:30 AM–4:15 PM, Monday/Wednesday; 2 hrs asynchronous, Tuesday/Thursday; 10:00 AM–12:30 PM, Friday
  • 2nd Semester: 12:15 PM–4:15 PM, Monday/Wednesday; 2 hrs asynchronous, Tuesday/Thursday
  • Percentage: 40 %

Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, format, structure, and schedule.
  • Create individualized programs of instruction and classroom materials.
  • Design lesson plans and learning activities.
  • Instruct students in large, small, and one‑on‑one situations.
  • Administer, edit, proofread, and grade assignments and assessments.
  • Create a positive classroom environment, supervise behavior and well‑being, and administer discipline when appropriate.
  • Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding across multiple modalities; use data to provide feedback and modify instruction.
  • Monitor student growth and progress, adapting support as needed and maintaining documentation of academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Communicate student progress, needs, and eligibility with parents/guardians and staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues to enhance instruction and student outcomes; participate in team and building meetings.
  • Commit to understanding and supporting student diversity; engage families; uphold district policies; maintain professional excellence.
  • Participate in district meetings, conferences, and extracurricular activities; pursue professional growth opportunities.
  • Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Colorado educator’s license with appropriate endorsement.
  • Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure program required; classroom experience preferred.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
Technical and General Skills
  • Oral and written communication;
    English language skills.
  • Interpersonal relations skills; critical thinking and problem‑solving.
  • Mathematics and accounting skills.
  • Bilingual oral and written communication skills preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators.
  • Strong confidentiality and integrity.
  • Effective time and priority management; attendance adherence.
  • Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
Technology Proficiency
  • Personal computers and peripherals;
    Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook) and department software.
  • Educational technology equipment and programs.
  • General office equipment operation.
