Work Unit Description
Dandelions Rising is a youth leadership and liberation program that guides 7-18-year-old Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and children of color to understand who they are and how they exist as gendered, racialized beings in their respective communities.
Essential
Job Duties
Provide attentive, culturally affirming child care that supports youth safety and well-being.
Assist with curriculum and engage youth in meaningful discussions and activities.
Help maintain smooth daily flow, prepare materials, and collaborate with staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrate knowledge of culturally affirming care
Demonstrate integrity, honesty, dependability, responsibility
Ability to actively participate and engage with child participants in all activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Work cohesively with other program staff
Use available resources to manage participants and situations
Demonstrate situational judgement, motivate and encourage participation to work towards a shared purpose
