Position: 2026-27 Teacher, Secondary Mathematics, Rocky Mountain High School, Fort Collins, Colorado.

Assignment: 100% for 188 calendar days (ongoing).

Pay Range

$58,000 – $89,278 annually (based on 100% assignment starting August 6, 2025). Rates will be updated for 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications
  • Valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in teaching licensure program required.
  • Experience instructing students in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Criminal background check required for hire.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, prepare, and implement:
    • Course content, format, structure, and schedule.
    • Individualized programs of instruction for students.
    • Classroom materials and curriculum.
    • Lesson plans and learning activities.
  • Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one situations.
  • Administer, edit, proofread, and grade students’ assignments and assessments.
  • Create a classroom environment that maximizes instructional opportunity, supervise behavior and well‑being, and administer discipline when appropriate.
  • Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding and use data to give feedback and modify instruction.
  • Monitor student growth and progress, adapt support as needed, and maintain documentation of academic, social, and emotional progress.
  • Communicate students’ progress, needs, and eligibility with parents/guardians and other staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, colleagues, and in team and building meetings.
  • Demonstrate commitment to:
