Salary Range: $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 6th, 2025; rates to be updated for 2026-27)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop, plan, prepare, and implement individual, measurable, long‑term and short‑term objectives based on student identified needs.
- Apply learning techniques to enhance/motivate students to meet IEP goals and evaluate student performance based on IEPs.
- Maintain necessary documentation of student performance and write clear and concise diagnostic results.
- Provide and maintain student involvement during instruction.
- Monitor student growth and progress, adapt support as needed, and maintain documentation of academic, social, and emotional progress and needs.
- Communicate students’ progress and needs with parents and staff as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, administrators, and colleagues to improve student outcomes, and with colleagues in team and building‑based meetings and discussions.
- Demonstrate commitment to understand, appreciate, and accommodate student diversity; include and engage families; support district policies and procedures; provide personal and professional excellence.
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary diagnostic and placement teams; department, team, building, and district meetings and discussions; student and/or family conferences and other meetings; social, cultural, interscholastic, and extracurricular activities; professional growth opportunities.
- Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
- Experience working with children identified with speech/language needs in a public education setting preferred.
- Valid Colorado Special Services license with Speech Language Specialist endorsement required.
- Criminal background check required for hire; CPR and first aid certifications encouraged.
- Oral and written communication skills;
English language skills; interpersonal relations skills; math and accounting skills; critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. - Bilingual oral and written communication skills preferred.
- Ability to work supportively with teachers, staff, and administrators to provide an effective learning environment.
- Ability to communicate with students, parents/guardians, staff, and community members.
