Childcare Director in Training

Compensation & Pay Range:
Salary range is $22 to $24 per hour PLUS FREE childcare. Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, performance, and years of service.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Prior management experience in licensed childcare.
  • PDIS of 3 or higher.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel to area locations.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Passion for providing high quality care and education.
Responsibilities
  • Help oversee daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions.
  • Ensure state licensing requirements and company policies are met.
  • Perform administrative duties, give tours to families, maintain records, ensure compliance, and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Partner with families to provide best care and education.
  • Support teachers in implementing curriculum, enabling developmentally appropriate classrooms.
  • Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing representatives, and the community.
  • Work in the classroom when needed to assist staff.
