2026‑27 school year teaching family & consumer sciences at Preston Middle School. FACS position focused on exploratory and hands‑on learning opportunities for students. Courses may include cooking/foods, healthy snacks and nutrition, fashion design, interior design, and other life‑skills‑based electives.
Position is 100% full‑time, with a work calendar of 188 days and an ongoing duration. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long‑term disability, access to an employee walk‑in clinic, and other optional benefit elections. Salary will be determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for the position is $58,000–$89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10, 2026).
Salary schedules are pending board approval in June 2026 and are tentative until approved. This position is probationary; PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply and retain contract status if selected.
Must have a valid Colorado Educator’s License with the appropriate endorsement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Course content, format, structure, and schedule;
