Information specific to this position:This position supports Preston Middle School. The intersections that this position will be stationed at are Rock Creek & Ziegler. School starts 7:30 am and ends at 2:25 pm.
Pay Range:$16.69-$18.69/hour (min-12% above min), based on qualifications and experience
Hours/day: 2
Work calendar days: 190
Duration of position:
One Year Only

SUMMARY:Maintain the safety of student pedestrians as they cross designated intersections on their way to and from school.
JOB TASKS:- Assist students safely across the street at designated crossing.
- Communicate with assigned supervisor or the Director of Transportation regarding incidences that occur while on duty.
- Be prepared by wearing appropriate equipment at assigned crossing.
- Report promptly at the designated time to the assigned school crossing.
- Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must complete District required professional development courses in a timely manner
- Experience working with children preferred
- Criminal background check required for hire
