Information specific to this position:
Long-Term Substitute needed for a High School Math and Science Teacher at Polaris Expeditionary Learning School. This assignment is expected to begin on September 21, 2026, and continue through the remainder of the fall semester. Assignment dates are subject to change based on school and staffing needs.

Polaris is a K-12 public school option within Poudre School District that serves 400 plus students each year. The school was founded in 2007 using the Expeditionary Learning model and continues to offer authentic learning experiences, both on and off campus, through investigations of compelling topics over an extended period of time.

Percentage: 100%

Work calendar days: 188

Duration of position:
Beginning 9/21/2026 through the remainder of the semester

Benefits include: PERA retirement

Will be paid the long-term substitute rate of $185.00/day

The substitute must have a valid Colorado teaching license or Substitute Authorization.
