Lead Teacher

Rainbow Club Preschool is looking for a nurturing, dependable, and emotionally aware Lead Teacher to join our small, relationship-centered preschool community. We are a play-based program that values creativity, emotional development, nature, mindfulness, and helping children feel safe, loved, and connected.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys young children, brings calm and positive leadership to the classroom, and wants to be part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Monday-Thursday

Typical hours between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay based on experience and qualifications ($18-22/hr)

• Lead a preschool classroom for children ages 2–5
• Create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Guide children through daily routines with patience and consistency
• Support social-emotional learning, creativity, and independence
• Communicate positively with families and coworkers
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom

• A warm, calm, and positive presence
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• A genuine love for working with young children
• Experience in early childhood education preferred
• ECT qualifications or willingness to complete trainings is a plus
