About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled CMM Programmer (Level
3) to lead advanced programming and inspection activities using CMM equipment and other precision measurement tools. This position plays a key role in developing inspection methods, supporting new product introduction, and ensuring the highest level of product quality.

What You’ll Do- Program and operate CMM equipment; maintain and update inspection work instructions
- Perform advanced programming for tools such as Talyrond, Nikon vision systems, and CMMs
- Review blueprints, manuals, and technical specs to determine inspection requirements
- Conduct first article inspections and analyze detailed measurement data
- Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of precision metrology equipment
- Work with engineering and suppliers to support new product introduction and inspection planning
- Mentor and train internal teams and suppliers on CMM programming and inspection techniques
- Participate in PFMEA activities and provide updates to cross‑functional teams
- Recommend improvements to inspection processes and overall product quality
- Stay informed on the latest metrology tools, methods, and industry advancements
- CNC programming experience
- Strong metrology and measurement knowledge
- Proficiency with PC‑DMIS (advanced programming required)
- Deep understanding of GD&T and its practical inspection applications
- Skilled with micrometers, gauges, comparators, and similar precision tools
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in CMM programming and precision inspection

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 – $45.00/hr.
