ESSWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the field execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This leadership role is responsible for managing all phases of construction, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and substation activities, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

• Lead day-to-day field construction activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Oversee EPC contractor performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering requirements, quality standards, and regulatory codes.
• Monitor and enforce site safety programs, QA/QC processes, and construction best practices.
• Coordinate construction schedules, resolve field issues, and drive project execution to meet key milestones.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, commissioning, and contractor teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support project commissioning, startup activities, and final turnover documentation.

• Extensive experience managing large-scale energy infrastructure or power generation projects.
• Strong background in utility-scale BESS, substations, transmission and distribution systems, utility interconnections, and medium- to high-voltage electrical construction.
• Proven ability to lead contractors, manage field operations, and maintain schedule and budget objectives.
• Thorough understanding of construction safety requirements, quality programs, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
