Structural Project Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Project Design Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and planning of structural components for various construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that our projects are structurally sound and meet all safety and building code requirements.

• Conduct detailed analysis and design of structural components for construction projects, including foundations, beams, columns, and other structural elements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop project plans and ensure that structural designs align with overall project goals and requirements.
• Utilize software and other tools to create detailed structural drawings and models.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction is following design plans and meeting safety and building code standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot any structural issues that may arise during the construction process and provide effective solutions.
• Review and approve plans and designs created by junior engineers and drafters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural design and construction techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proficient in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP
  2000.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other professionals.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
