Advanced Sourcing Engineer

Role Overview

The Sourcing Engineer I supports the connection between Technology & Development Engineering, Category Management, PLC Project Management, and external suppliers. This role leverages an engineering background and technical experience in materials, design, and manufacturing methods to assist with early supplier involvement, supplier discovery, cost and technical studies, and proposal support aligned to technology roadmaps and category strategies.

• Technical Problem Solving:
  Analyze and resolve complex material, design, and manufacturing sourcing engineering challenges by applying advanced technical knowledge and innovative solutions.
• Should Cost:
  Perform technical analysis of materials, design, and manufacturing processes to develop estimated cost structures used by Sourcing Managers in negotiations, and NPI CTC development.
• Project Leadership:
  Lead small-scale sourcing projects, coordinating resources and managing timelines to ensure successful execution and delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Preferred: 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Estimated travel: 10–20% to suppliers, trade shows, and other company sites.

Approximately 10–20% of the time.

This position requires use of information subject to ITAR/EAR. All applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible for required authorizations.

Estimated annual base pay: $93,000 (minimum) – $149,000 (maximum).
