POWER THE FUTURE OF CLEAN ENERGY
Project Engineer – Utility‑Scale Solar ConstructionWe are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a background in utility‑scale solar construction. In this role you will lead and mentor Field Engineers, coordinate engineering efforts, and manage project documentation to ensure smooth execution of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor Field Engineers to ensure project tracking and reporting align with company standards.
- Coordinate engineering efforts between internal teams, third‑party firms, and field operations.
- Manage RFIs, permits, and construction documents to support smooth project execution.
- Support safety and quality programs throughout design and construction phases.
- Oversee project controls including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Generate and maintain reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between site teams, engineering resources, and clients.
- Drive process improvements and support production analysis with tools and data.
- Step in for the Site Manager when needed to ensure continuity of operations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
- Accounting skills (math and record‑keeping).
- Ability to give presentations to groups of 10 or more people.
- Experience with and understanding of at least two disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, or commissioning).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e‑mail), Adobe Acrobat/Blue Beam, P6 or other scheduling applications, Visio and engineering software applications.
- Effective communication (oral, written, presentation) and supervisory skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
- Prepared to relocate to the project site for the duration of each construction project (average 6–15 months).
- Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean‑shaven, long sleeves, steel‑toe boots).
- Must pass a physical exam if required.
- Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
- Uneven ground

- Work at low/high elevations
- Confined work spaces
- Predominantly outdoor work
- Exposure to:
- Extreme heat or cold
- Humidity, rain, and other weather conditions
- Loud noise from tools and machinery
- Potential chemical exposure
$90,000 - $123,000
