We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a background in utility‑scale solar construction. In this role you will lead and mentor Field Engineers, coordinate engineering efforts, and manage project documentation to ensure smooth execution of solar projects.

• Lead and mentor Field Engineers to ensure project tracking and reporting align with company standards.
• Coordinate engineering efforts between internal teams, third‑party firms, and field operations.
• Manage RFIs, permits, and construction documents to support smooth project execution.
• Support safety and quality programs throughout design and construction phases.
• Oversee project controls including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Generate and maintain reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between site teams, engineering resources, and clients.
• Drive process improvements and support production analysis with tools and data.
• Step in for the Site Manager when needed to ensure continuity of operations.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
• Accounting skills (math and record‑keeping).
• Ability to give presentations to groups of 10 or more people.
• Experience with and understanding of at least two disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, or commissioning).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e‑mail), Adobe Acrobat/Blue Beam, P6 or other scheduling applications, Visio and engineering software applications.
• Effective communication (oral, written, presentation) and supervisory skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
• Prepared to relocate to the project site for the duration of each construction project (average 6–15 months).

• Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean‑shaven, long sleeves, steel‑toe boots).
• Must pass a physical exam if required.
