- Lead, coach, and grow a distributed team of mechanical engineers to reach their full potential.
- Partner closely with Product Management and UX to align on priorities and roadmaps.
- Ensure strong, scalable design, development, and testing processes.
- Drive improvements in engineering tools, PDM systems, and BOM processes.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and realistic effort estimation.
- Participate in cross‑functional reviews, including FMEA, risk analysis, and validation.
- Identify team needs in terms of hiring, tools, and development.
A leader who combines technical credibility with strong people leadership and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Must Have- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading product design work as a mechanical engineer.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers (formal or informal leadership).
- Experience with reliability engineering, including designing validation and life testing.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Ability and willingness to work on‑site in Fort Collins.
