Dry Utilities Civil Designer

** Overview*
* Kimley-Horn's Broomfield, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Dry Utilities Designer with 6+ years of experience to join their Dry Utilities team! This is not a remote position.

** Responsibilities*
* + Work on a variety of projects, such as undergrounding overhead electrical and communications lines, coordinating electrical and communications utilities for new developments, photometrics and lighting,natural gas lines,and more

+ Manage project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and provide regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff

+ Utilize technical software programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3

Dregularlyto analyze, produce, and review deliverables for our clients.

+ Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects

+ You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry-leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors

+ In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects

+ Assistin monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules

+ As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions

** Qualifications*
* + 6+ years of relevant engineering design experience 

+ Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

+ Communicates technical thoughts clearly and concisely

+ Excellent technical writing skills

+ Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment

+ Ability to work independently and aspart ofa team

Salary Range:

+ $95,000 - $150,000

+ Eligible for performance-based bonuses
