Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Application Engineer II/Senior Application Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing control systems for gas turbines used in industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Application Maintenance:
Support test setups, debug recommendations, and assist with small software changes. - Technical Support:
Evaluate technical problems, analyze data, and implement effective solutions under guidance. - Application Processes:
Contribute technical content to proposals, product specifications, software, and application literature; promote and implement process improvements. - Execute Technical Assignments:
Carry out a range of tasks and projects, resolving moderately complex issues using current technologies and established procedures. - Apply Business Expertise:
Use knowledge of key business drivers and company processes to inform technical decisions and align projects with organizational goals.
- Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in engineering technologies and tools. - Effective Communication:
Clear and concise technical communication to diverse audiences. - Team
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with internal and external teams. - Analytical Problem Solving:
Analyze data and situations to resolve moderately complex technical issues. - Informal Mentorship:
Guide and support new team members. - Business Acumen:
Apply key business knowledge to enhance work performance. - Quality Management:
Maintain high standards in personal work output and contribute to product and service quality. - Documentation and Record Keeping:
Create and maintain accurate technical requirements, documentation, and records. - Adaptability to New Technologies:
Learn and apply new technologies as required. - Applying Standards:
Understand and interpret industry and company technical standards, including quality system and PLC process standards.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering or related field (required).
- Familiarity with gas turbine controls and operations.
- Experience in power generation or oil & gas applications.
- Knowledge of network management and cybersecurity.
- Annual base pay estimate: $77,000 – $105,000.
- Annual cash bonus opportunity.
