Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer – Geohazards/ Infrastructure/ Construction Defects

Engineering Analytics, Inc., is now a part of Mac Kay, and we are looking for a dedicated and relationship-driven Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on geohazards, infrastructure design, and construction defect investigations, supporting our dynamic Infrastructure and Development team in Fort Collins, CO.

This engineer will be required to travel for about 25% of their time. We offer a comfortable, collaborative work environment with flexible work arrangements.

Key responsibilities
  • Support project management
  • Help oversee junior staff
  • Interface with clients
  • As needed, assist market sector lead with marketing and preparation of proposals and cost estimates
  • Assist on project work for other market sectors as needed
  • Construction management activities
Requirements
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geologic Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related discipline.
  • M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering Colorado
  • P.E. license required; P.E. in other Southwestern States a plus
  • 10 years of experience in infrastructure design, geohazard analysis and design, and construction defect investigations
  • Experience in litigation support, deposition, and trial testimony is a plus
  • Business development experience and/or interest in helping to drive client relationships and new work with existing and new clients
