Senior Advisor – Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

FNBO’s community banking division in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a Senior Advisor to serve as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager. The role focuses on delivering strategic advice and value to a portfolio of managed business customers while enabling customer growth and retention. Responsibilities include bringing the bank to the customer by connecting business clients with appropriate specialists and bank products, including commercial loans, lines of credit, deposits, payment products, treasury services, and business planning services.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Understand customer needs and match them with FNBO solutions through the use of the CRM system (Salesforce) and the Precision Lender platform.
  • Portfolio Management:
    Manage a portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationships, typically exceeding $250,000, focused on 10–500 employee, professionally managed businesses.
  • Business Development:
    Allocate 50% of time to acquiring new business, 25% to growing existing business, and 25% to servicing existing business; build centers of influence such as attorneys and accountants.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with other departments to optimize referral opportunities and meet customer needs.
  • Compliance:
    Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, regulations, and the BSA/AML program.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of successful commercial lending relationship management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and grow a diverse portfolio of business products.
  • Strong customer and people relationship skills, customer‑focused thinking, and proficiency in credit analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Unrestricted work authorization; no future sponsorship required.
Compensation

Base pay range: $89,828.00 – $, subject to variation based on experience, education, and skill level.

Work Environment

The role is anticipated to be onsite at the Fort Collins location, with the possibility of location changes based on business needs.
