Full-time, Non-exempt, Pay Range: $19.50 - $20.00. Schedules available:

• Perform specific tasks according to daily assignments and housekeeping procedures.
• Assure that work areas are clean, safe, comfortable and attractive.
• Follow infection control, safety and fire‑safety policies.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, windows, floors, carpets, walls and ceilings.
• Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize and disinfect carpets.
• Remove debris and waste from appropriate containers.
• Report hazardous conditions and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident‑care information and honor personal property.
• Assist in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience:
  
  One year in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Job knowledge:
  Ability to read, write, speak English, follow instructions, deal with residents and visitors tactfully. Maintain appearance of housekeeping areas.
• Standards:
  Health Department standards compliance.
