Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our family in Fort Collins, CO
. Your job will be to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication to customers and patients according to prescribed methods. The Pharmacy Technician approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.
- Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication to customers and patients according to prescribed methods.
- Support patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change within a team-based care model.
- Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for email, basic Internet knowledge, and multi-line phone experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
- One year of general pharmacy experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is desired
- A Pharmacy Technician must obtain a certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board)
- It is a job requirement that applicants/new hires comply with this regulation and receive this certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy before their start date
- If granted a provisional certification, the employee must pass their CPHT examination in the time frame required by the State Board of Pharmacy (18 months), or be granted an extension by the State Board, allowing them to maintain their provisional licensure. Valid and current licensure by the state must be maintained to ensure continued employment
- Our starting hourly pay range is $20.50 to $25 per hour
- Monday to Friday – Available 8 am to 5:30 pm
