Surgical Technician

Duties include:

• Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
• Maintaining patients' medical records
• Reviewing medical history
• Obtaining appropriate consents
• Calling in prescriptions
• Performing patient call backs
• Scheduling surgeries
• Obtaining pre-authorizations

Requirements include:

• Must be a certified surgical tech
• At least one year of dermatology experience
• Surgical experience required
• Cosmetic and plastic surgical experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of vital signs is required
• Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be computer literate
• Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
• Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the provider, mileage is included!
