This role blends overnight guest service with financial accuracy and operational focus. You are responsible for balancing the day’s transactions, preparing the property for tomorrow, and caring for guests who arrive late or need support through the night.

- Welcome late arrivals with warmth and reassurance.
- Offer calm, solution-focused support to overnight guest needs.
- Create a sense of safety and comfort throughout the property.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, even during challenging situations.
- Maintain professionalism while bringing genuine personality to guest interactions.
- Anticipate early departures and prepare folios accurately and efficiently.
- Leave detailed, proactive notes to ensure seamless transition to the morning team.
- Support teammates by preparing reports, logs, and updates for the next shift.
- Protect the integrity of operations through accuracy and accountability.
- Manage late-night check-ins and early morning check-outs with efficiency and warmth.
- Handle guest concerns with empathy and urgency, escalating when appropriate.
- Maintain a visible, attentive presence in the lobby and common areas.
- Complete nightly audit procedures in accordance with property and brand standards.
- Balance daily transactions, post charges, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare daily revenue, occupancy, and financial reports for leadership review.
- Ensure accuracy of guest folios and billing information.
- Secure property entrances and monitor overall safety during overnight hours.
- Communicate maintenance or security concerns promptly.
- Prepare the front desk and lobby for a smooth morning shift transition.
- Audit processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Guest billing discrepancies are minimized.
- Morning leadership receives clear, organized reporting.
- Overnight guests feel safe, supported, and cared for.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality experience preferred.
- Previous front desk or night audit experience strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently.
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with property management systems.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
