SAP Functional Architect – Record to Report

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Architect to design and deliver solutions in the Record to Report (R2R) domain. This role is responsible for architecting SAP solutions that align with business needs, ensure strong integration across systems, and follow SAP best practices while improving the overall user experience.

• Lead ERP functional solution design in the Record to Report process area.
• Provide direction to system integrators in project settings to ensure solutions meet requirements, integrate effectively, and follow SAP standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define solutions that support business objectives.
• Document functional requirements, configuration rationale, and functional specifications. Validate development estimates.
• Own the solution design and oversee development through to implementation.
• Define and execute test plans, validate outcomes, and ensure solutions meet intended objectives.
• Support managed services teams with escalated incidents and confirm/advise on appropriate resolution actions.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery.
• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in S/4
  
  HANA FICO submodules with integration across SD, MM, and PP.
• Hands-on experience in Product Costing with Material Ledger and Project Systems in MTO (Make-to-Order) scenarios (required).
• FSCM experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with RICEFWs; ability to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Experience working with One Source preferred.
• Knowledge of Acquire to Retire processes and their integration with Record to Report.
• Experience coordinating with banks for AR/AP automation solutions and EBS processing.
• Proven ability to design complex SAP solutions, including custom solutions, to enable unique business processes.
• Strong creative problem-solving and communication skills to influence outcomes.
• Experience with SAP development estimation and delivery best practices.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and support team members.
• Capable of handling multiple initiatives at once.
