Job DescriptionLead a technical validation team overseeing ASIC-based embedded systems, driving architecture reviews, test planning, and systems debugging across critical product platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Develop and manage detailed validation test plans
- Coordinate root cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and embedded systems
- Lead a team of 12–15 validation engineers
- Analyze architecture specs and switch board behaviors
- Drive technical meetings and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Track validation progress, maintain urgency, and escape issues
- Travel quarterly to support cross-site collaboration
- 3+ years managing technical engineering teams (ideally 10+ engineers)
- Hands-on experience in validation, firmware, or embedded systems
- Electrical Engineering background or equivalent technical expertise
- Excellent attention to detail and technical curiosity
- Proven ability to influence teams without micromanagement
- Strong root cause analysis and debugging capabilities
- Experience with test plan creation and execution
- Comfortable working onsite 5 days/week in a high-responsibility culture
- ASIC design or validation experience
- Experience integrating custom silicon into hardware systems
- Prior experience as a validation IC who grew into management
