IT Systems Engineer; Generalist

Beocom Technologies is a growing IT solutions provider specializing in IT Consulting, Managed Services (MSP), Web Hosting, and cutting‑edge technology solutions such as Network & VoIP implementation, Cloud Computing, Automation & Virtualization, Email Servers, and Cybersecurity.

We are looking for our first full‑time hire – an IT Systems Engineer (Generalist) who is excited to grow with us. This is not a narrow, siloed role. Instead, you’ll be the type of professional who loves learning new technologies, solving diverse IT challenges, and being hands‑on with everything from cloud deployments to troubleshooting networks.

IT Consulting & MSP Support

Provide technical support and managed services for small-to-medium businesses. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying needs and implementing solutions.

Infrastructure & Networks

Deploy and maintain small business networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VoIP systems. Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

Cloud & Virtualization

Assist in cloud migrations (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google Workspace). Implement and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox, etc.).

Cybersecurity & Email Systems

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot security solutions (firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, backups). Deploy and maintain secure email servers, DNS, spam filtering, and encryption services.

Explore and implement automation tools (scripting, orchestration, RMM). Stay ahead of new technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Client Engagement & Growth

Work directly with clients to resolve issues and implement projects. Document solutions, train end‑users, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (preferred but not required). 2+ years of hands‑on IT experience across multiple domains (help desk, networking, cloud, or cybersecurity). Strong understanding of small business IT environments. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Familiarity with some of the following is a plus:

• Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace
• VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox
• Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment
• Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory
• Cybersecurity best practices, compliance, or risk management
