Role OverviewWant to be a Difference Maker in your community? As an Estimator with Paul Davis Restoration of Fort Collins, you will help homeowners restore peace of mind by drafting accurate estimates for restoration projects after events such as floods and fires.
What a Project Estimator doesPartner with property owners, adjusters, and project managers to scope and estimate damages using Matterport and other technology. Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals and follow all program guidelines to ensure projects are completed within profit range and service level agreements are met.
Responsibilities- Partner directly with division managers, property owners, insurance carriers, adjusters, compliance coordinators, and project managers.
- Use Matterport to complete damage estimates in Xactimate or Symbility.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals by communicating with local adjusters, desk adjusters, and program specialists.
- Follow all TPA and program guidelines.
- Make estimate revisions, corrections, and compliance with program guidelines.
- Ensure projects are completed within profit range and service level agreements are achieved.
- Maintain ongoing communication with adjusters and update them on progress.
- Communicate expectations with the estimating team, program vendors, and local adjusters and contacts.
- Document and communicate any change orders and insurance supplements.
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods while working on a computer.
- Adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- 1‑3 years of experience as a restoration estimator or insurance adjuster.
- Experience with Matterport and Hover/Eagleview.
- Proficiency with Xact Analysis, Xactimate, Core Logic, Symbility.
- Familiarity with major insurance carriers and understanding of carrier specific guidelines and SLAs.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and self‑motivated to produce accurate results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilient team player with a positive, can‑do attitude. Works well in a team.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and think critically.
