Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Description
Part time and full-time availability, 2-4-hour blocks per day preferred. Flexible scheduling to accommodate school schedule.
Job Duties- Receiving and organizing materials.
- Changing air/fan coil filters.
- Cleaning mechanical systems like intakes/coils.
- Changing belts and greasing/oiling of mechanical equipment.
- Working with Technicians on projects in the field. (TW)
- Documenting and updating spreadsheets. (V/WC)
- Applicants should have basic tool knowledge and mechanical systems awareness, and ability to work independently in a safe, productive manner. Applicants will work in all weather conditions, use of roof access ladders and be exposed to heights. (CT/PS)
- Must be dependable, honest, responsible, and able to interact with a diverse campus community. (PA, TW)
- Must have ability to work outside for duration of work shift; walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending and sitting for long periods of time.
- Able to lift 50lbs as needed.
- Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Basic tool knowledge and mechanical systems awareness
