Treatment Director

SAFY is seeking a Full‑Time Treatment Director in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role includes responsibility for the treatment and quality of care for the youth in placement and those served through programs such as Therapeutic Foster Care and Family Preservation. You will provide continuous direction, assistance, and clinical oversight to those supervised, and be accountable for the fiscal viability of the division.

• Provide crisis intervention.
• Oversee the intake and placement process, coordinating with Case Coordinators, Clinical Therapists and Family Development Specialists to expedite placement of youth referred.
• Participate in all rule‑violation investigations in the division and placement preservation meetings.
• Review and approve all treatment foster home certifications and re‑certifications.
• Fill in for various positions during absences or vacancies of staff.
• Rotate 24/7/365 on‑call support to the families SAFY serves.

• Ensure youth, foster parent and other client files are in compliance at all times; establish a routine schedule for file audits with the appropriate division and auditing staff.
• Where applicable, oversee divisional compliance for Mental Health Utilization.
• Visit all foster homes according to SAFY policy and all referral sources annually.
• Prepare required reports in a timely manner.

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing divisional team; provide direction on problems, performance, and youth challenges; establish performance goals and monitor progress.
• Interview candidates applying for assigned clinical and non‑clinical positions in the division.
• Train assigned staff, including thorough onboarding and ensuring appropriate continuing education for current staff.
• Assign performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports; establish work schedules and on‑call rotation among staff to assure coverage of the division.
• Supervise treatment plan development and reviews; provide supervisory backup for the needs of treatment foster parents and staff; conduct division treatment team meetings.
• Work with the State Director and finance department to develop an annual operating budget, work within that budget once approved, review monthly financial information and make suggestions when necessary.

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child & family studies, or another approved related field of human services.
• LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPCC, required.
• Three years experience in the field of social services; one year in a supervisory/administrative capacity and two years providing direct care services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage to meet travel requirements; may require transporting youth if needed.

• Targeted hiring range: $66,000.00 to $86,000.00
