Wafer Fabrication Operator 2

Job Summary

This role involves a 12‑hour work day, alternating between 3‑ and 4‑day work weeks. Each shift typically requires 8‑10 hours of standing, walking, and lifting or moving approximately 10‑lb boxes of material in a cleanroom environment. Workers must wear full body, head‑to‑foot cleanroom suits and additional personal protective equipment when handling or working near hazardous materials.

Perform a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices, including operating wafer fabrication tools and processes, testing products, and delivering finished items to work areas. Follow written procedures and process specifications, maintain adherence to safety protocols, and work collaboratively within a team to meet production goals.

• Apply company policies and procedures to complete complex tasks and recognize quality problems on equipment and product.
• Understand production needs and determine when additional troubleshooting is required to achieve manufacturable results.
• Execute tasks with little supervision while meeting manufacturing goals.
• Have 2 to 5 years of related experience or education in semiconductor or related manufacturing.

The salary range for this position is $21.00 – $25.00 per hour. The role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
