Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Door Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality craftsmanship and precision. They will have a strong understanding of manufacturing, mechanical systems, and materials handling. Experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

The role involves measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing custom doors and related trim components according to detailed specifications and drawings. Day-to-day tasks include operating woodworking tools and machinery, inspecting materials for quality, performing precise joinery, and ensuring all products meet company standards. The person in this role will read and interpret detailed plans, collaborate with team members to coordinate production schedules, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Additional responsibilities include handling materials safely, operating forklifts , following all workplace safety guidelines and procedures, assisting with loading/unloading trucks, stocking materials, and helping customers pull and load orders.

Qualifications
  • Strong carpentry and millwork skills, including measuring, cutting, assembly, and finishing of wood products.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Experience operating common woodworking tools and machinery (e.g., saws, sanders, planers, drills) safely and accurately.
  • Solid understanding of construction standards, door and trim installation practices, and quality control procedures.
  • Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks with consistency.
  • Reliable time management skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.
  • Physical ability to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs) and move materials throughout the workday and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Previous experience in a millwork shop, door manufacturing, or related carpentry environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry or woodworking is a plus.
