Reporting to the Production Manager, the Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines, related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.

Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles. This position is part of the Operations Department located in Fort Collins, CO and will be on-site.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
  • Technical certification or vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a lean or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters.
