We build collaborative, mission-driven teams and support our clinicians with the structure, resources, and leadership needed to deliver high‑quality care. We are currently hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Fort Collins, CO.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) to provide medical care, medication management, and clinical oversight in a detox and residential substance use disorder treatment setting. This role emphasizes patient stabilization, interdisciplinary collaboration, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance, allowing clinicians to practice thoughtfully in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care
- Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment
- Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens (UDS)
- Document all medical care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review (UR) teams
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM standards
- Manage daily and weekly patient schedules efficiently
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) license in Colorado
- Valid Colorado medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health (1+ year preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
This is an in‑person role in a detox and residential treatment setting where clinicians are trusted to practice with integrity and compassion. You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values clinical judgment, open communication, and shared responsibility‑working together to help patients stabilize, engage in treatment, and begin meaningful recovery.
