Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (part-time)

The Youth Clinic is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care to hospitalized pediatric patients and newborns in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Currently our physician group provides 24/7 hospital care for newborns and children at Poudre Valley Hospital (PVH) 365 days per year. We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work 20 to 25 hours per week. This position is scheduled five days per week, and requires regular weekend coverage as well as some holiday shifts. Shifts are generally from 7:30 a.m. to noon, but times may vary depending on patient census.

Primary responsibilities will include morning level 1 newborn care and limited pediatric admissions. PVH is the only pediatric inpatient unit in northern Colorado and serves a broad catchment area, with admissions and transfers from northern Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.
