Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift – Full Time, 0.9 FTE, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) in the IRF Inpatient Rehab Unit at UCHealth UCHlth Broomfield Hospital, Broomfield, CO, US.

Pay & Incentives

$35.29–$54.71 per hour, based on relevant experience. Full‑time night shift RNs receive a Night Shift Incentive Program of $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 annually).

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS certification via AHA or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer, with card valid through 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Provide top‑scope, evidence‑based direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Apply a multidisciplinary team approach for exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
  • Precept and mentor new staff, fostering competency and patient safety.
  • Engage in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment, welcoming new knowledge.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards at the point of care.
  • Deliver direct care in specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units for moderate to high acuity patients.
  • Apply AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards within evidence‑based care models.
  • Collaborate with clinical educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation.
