Job Title: Full‑Time School Nurse

Location: Golden, Colorado

Minimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Full‑Time School Nurse to join our educational institution in Golden, CO. As a School Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining the health and well‑being of our students. Your expertise in healthcare management and your commitment to providing high‑quality care will contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our school community.

• Provide direct nursing care and emergency medical treatment to students and staff members.
• Assess and address the health needs of students, including administering medication, treating minor injuries, and managing chronic health conditions.
• Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical needs or conditions.
• Monitor and document student immunization records and ensure compliance with state and district health requirements.
• Conduct health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and assist with the coordination of dental and other health services.
• Educate students, parents, and staff on health‑related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation, including incident reports and communication with healthcare providers.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid and emergency care.

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric, public health, or school setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications.
• Familiarity with common pediatric health conditions, medications, and medical procedures.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable.
