RN Operating Room

Position Overview

UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center, Estes Park, CO. Department: EVMC Surgery. PRN work schedule, 0 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Days shift. Pay: $38.91 – $60.31 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Onsite role; no remote option.

• Provide direct patient care in the perioperative setting, including PAICU, PACU, and operating room levels of care.
• Apply nursing process and evidence‑based practice to deliver top‑scope patient care.
• Precept new staff and contribute to a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Fill in pre/post area as needed.
• Follow AORN and ABPA National Core Curriculum and certification standards.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board‑approved RN program (BSN preferred).
• State licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
• Minimum six months of OR nursing experience, or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross, CPR for Professional Rescuer, card in‑hand before start date; card must be good for at least 60 days after hire.

Salary: $38.91 – $60.31 per hour (dependent on experience).
