Position Availability
Available in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities.
Responsibilities- Reports directly to the nurse manager; may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
- Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
- Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- Assists residents with basic personal care such as bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc.
- Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner: performs light housekeeping, changes linen, makes beds, tidies bedside tables, shelves, closets, cleans bathrooms, etc.
- Assists with resident laundry: ensuring clothes are marked, cleaned, mended, ironed, and put away; notifies supervisor of clothing needs.
- Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding residents.
- May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
Night Shift – every other weekend required.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion and passing of the approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
- Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Pay Range: $19.70 - $28.01 per hour. The actual rate depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal and external equity considerations.
