72 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Night shifts available

Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on relevant experience

The Neuro Medical acute care unit is a brand-new 24-bed addition to our legacy hospital at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. This unit will primarily care for neurology-focused patients as well as medically managed hospitalist patients.

Orientation will begin on the Ortho Neuro Spine unit.

This is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.

Values multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective and evidence-based practice.

Models proficiency through precepting new staff and/or UCHealth personnel.

Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.

Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity.

Engages in AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards as part of evidence based care models.

Receives guidance from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation throughout orientation.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for a Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. Card must be valid for 60 days after hire.
