Role Overview
Labor & Delivery Float pool. Support patients and families at Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Greeley Hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
- Model proficiency through precepting new staff and support UCHealth initiatives.
- Contribute to safe, quality care at the point of care.
- Assist in the Women’s Care and Infants area, including Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery‑Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU units.
- Apply WHONN and AACN practice standards and certifications such as RNC‑OB, C‑EFM, NRP, and CCRN to guide evidence‑based care models.
- Current CO RN license or equivalent eNLC privileges.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- ACLS and NRP certifications.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross – CPR for Professional Rescuer with a valid card on hand before the start date.
