Pay: $37.06 - $57.44 per hour, dependent on experience.
Duration:

Provides direct patient care in a behavioral health setting at a proficient level, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors patients to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Responsibilities- Initiates corrective action whenever patient presentation shows adverse symptomology.
- Responds to patient care situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
- Provides psychiatric nursing to a complex behavioral health patient population in a complex environment.
- Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- Advanced CPI within 30 days of hire.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
