Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:Prioritizes patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practice; models proficiency through precepting new staff; contributes to quality care; supports a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Qualifications & Skills:Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred); current RN licensure; minimum 6 months of RN experience; BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
Key Duties:Engages in top-of-scope nursing care, promotes safety, and collaborates within a team to improve patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.
