Role:
PRN Registered Nurse in the Neurology Department at a hospital setting, providing direct patient care in acute care units with moderate to high patient acuity.
Responsibilities:- Utilize top-of-scope nursing practice, apply the nursing process, prioritize patient safety, and contribute to quality care.
- Support and precept new staff, promote evidence-based practice, and work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience)
- Current RN licensure
- A minimum of 6 months RN experience
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Key Duties:
- Provide specialized acute care, model proficiency, support ongoing education, and contribute to a safe, innovative clinical environment.
- Flexibility to self-schedule within a six-week period, with night shifts and weekend availability.
Hourly pay based on experience.
