Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ medical and surgical conditions to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Provide direct bedside nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of patient status
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring for effectiveness and potential adverse reactions
• Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient responses to interventions, promptly identifying and addressing changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and self-management
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards
• Ensure a safe, clean, and sterile care environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols
• Participate actively in discharge planning to support smooth transitions to home or other levels of care
• Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes patient comfort, dignity, and healing

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required)
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or Canada
• License endorsement assistance available for eligible candidates
• One (1) or more years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered based on role and setting)
• Strong clinical knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and patient care standards
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred based on unit needs
