Job Description:We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ medical and surgical conditions to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Provide direct bedside nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and continuous monitoring of patient status
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring for effectiveness and potential adverse reactions
- Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient responses to interventions, promptly identifying and addressing changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and self-management
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in accordance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards
- Ensure a safe, clean, and sterile care environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols
- Participate actively in discharge planning to support smooth transitions to home or other levels of care
- Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes patient comfort, dignity, and healing
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree required)
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or Canada
- License endorsement assistance available for eligible candidates
- One (1) or more years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered based on role and setting)
- Strong clinical knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and patient care standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred based on unit needs
