Role Overview: Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care in a Level 1 trauma designated Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices to deliver top-tier patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Precept and mentor new healthcare staff and students.
- Maintain compliance with certification standards such as BCEN, ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC, and others.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent if less than 3 years’ experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 6 months RN nursing experience.
- Certifications:
ACLS, PALS, BLS, and other trauma and emergency courses within specified time frames. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
