Role Overview
Provides direct, high-quality nursing care in a pediatric acute care setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.
Responsibilities- Deliver scope of practice in patient care, prioritizing safety, wellness, and patient-centered outcomes.
- Support and guide new staff through precepting and mentorship.
- Contribute to a secure environment by maintaining safety and quality at the point of care.
- Work in specialty acute care units with moderate to high patient acuity, adhering to clinical education standards.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum six months of RN experience; PALS certification within six months of hire.
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and recent clinical experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate proficiency in nursing skills, and collaborate effectively within a team. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth is valued.
