Assistant Manager - 14er Boulder Retail

Job Summary

A cannabis retail assistant manager supports the general manager in daily dispensary operations. They supervise staff, manage inventory and cash handling, drive sales, and enforce strict state compliance.

• Team Leadership:
  Coach, train, and onboard hourly dispensary staff.
• Core Operations:
  Build weekly labor schedules and track performance goals;
  Resolve employee conflicts and support human resources tasks.
• Operations and Compliance:
  Open and close the store, including register counts and cash reconciliation. Ensure strict adherence to local and state cannabis laws. Assist with state compliance audits and inspections.
• Inventory and Sales:
  Monitor seed-to-sale tracking systems (Metrc) and point-of-sale (POS) software. Conduct weekly stock counts, receive deliveries, and handle audits. Handle escalated customer service issues and promote customer loyalty.

• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in retail, hospitality, or customer service leadership (cannabis experience preferred).
• Skills: Strong communication, math/cash handling, and familiarity with POS/inventory technology.
