Sales Representative – Anatomy Education

Position Overview

Zahourek Systems, Inc. is expanding its sales team and seeking a Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on selling the hands-on, highly engaging ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning System. We are a mission-based company with a strong passion for education.

  Approximately 10–25%

Salary Range: $50,000 – $80,000 per year (base salary + commission)

• Manage sales and customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory.
• Sell anatomical models, support materials, and educational training programs.
• Serve K–12, collegiate, and other targeted educational market segments.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Support marketing initiatives including exhibits, educational trainings, customer visits, and events.
• Coordinate travel and logistics for events and customer meetings.
• Utilize CRM systems and other software tools to optimize performance.
• Travel overnight and occasionally on weekends for events (10–25%).
• Collaborate with a mission-driven, team-oriented company.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Quantify opportunities for additional or expanded sales.
• Implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using CRM and internal systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Experience selling to K–12 and/or collegiate customers.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quick Books.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
• Proven ability to present, close sales, and meet revenue goals.

• Previous teaching experience.
• Background in Anatomy, Physiology, Gross Anatomy, or Science Education.
• Experience in educational or gross anatomy sales.

• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High standard of business ethics.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.

Founded in 1989 by artist and educator Jon Zahourek, the ANATOMY IN CLAY® Learning System was created to provide a hands-on, inside-out approach to understanding anatomy. What began as a sculpted skeleton for teaching figure drawing evolved into a nationally used educational system.

Today, Zahourek Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Loveland, Colorado, with two manufacturing facilities. ANATOMY IN CLAY® models are used in thousands of high schools, colleges, veterinary schools, and body worker training programs nationwide. Each model is still constructed by hand to ensure exceptional quality.
