About the Role

Dellenbach Motors is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Leasing Professional to join our dynamic showroom team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind connecting our community with their perfect vehicles.

While you will serve as a specialized expert in new Chevrolet sales and leasing, this is a versatile role where you will also have the opportunity to sell from our extensive inventory of high-quality pre-owned vehicles across all makes and models. If you have a passion for automobiles, a knack for building relationships, and a drive to succeed, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement:
Serve as the first point of contact for our customers. Warmly greet guests, listen actively to their automotive needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process with exceptional customer service.
  • Sales & Leasing:
Successfully negotiate and close the sale or lease of new Chevrolet vehicles. You will also cross-sell our diverse lineup of pre-owned cars, trucks, and SUVs to ensure every customer finds exactly what they are looking for.
  • Product Expertise:
Become a certified Chevrolet product expert. Maintain an in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of all new Chevy models, trim levels, features, and EV technology to confidently educate customers and perform engaging test drives.
  • Deal Processing:
Handle and oversee all sales-related paperwork meticulously. Work closely with the finance and management teams to ensure contracts, lease agreements, and registration documents are accurate and fully compliant.
  • Relationship Building:
Follow up with prospective buyers and maintain long-term relationships with past customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
What We Are Looking For
  • Communication

    Skills:

You must be outgoing, articulate, and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.
  • Drive to Succeed: A self-starter mentality with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Detail-Oriented:
The ability to handle complex paperwork and sales processes without letting the little things slip through the cracks.
  • Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience:

Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong retail sales or customer service experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation (Commission Structure)
  • Comprehensive ongoing training on Chevrolet products and sales processes
  • A supportive, family-owned dealership environment
  • Opportunities for career advancement

Dellenbach Motors is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience:

No previous automotive sales experience is necessary—we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. A background in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus, but a positive attitude and a strong drive to succeed are the most important qualifications. Fluency in English & Spanish is considered a major plus!
  • Availability:
Expected to work a five-day work week, which includes Saturdays. Enjoy guaranteed time off every Sunday, as our dealership is always closed.
  • Licensing & Driving Record:
Must possess a valid, current state Driver’s License with a clean driving record (must be insurable by the dealership's insurance provider).
  • Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to actively listen, clearly present information, and build rapport with a diverse customer base.
  • Technology

    Skills:

Comfortable using standard computer programs, mobile devices, and willing to learn our dealership CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Pre-Employment Screening:
Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug screening prior to employment.
